The programme of Thursday evening quality sessions cater for the first months of 2013 is now available by following the link on this page. These sessions cater for runners of all ability working as a group so why not give them a try! 7pm from the Pie Hall every Thursday.

Thursday Evening Club Nights

Welcome to the Denby Dale Travellers running club. We are based at The Pie Hall on Wakefield Road in Denby Dale. Club training nights are Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm with groups for all abilities, from age 16. If you are interested in running, either competitively or just to keep fit, why not pop down on one of these evenings. We would be very pleased to see you!

Birdsedge Challenge

The Birdsedge Challenge 6 mile multi-terrain race takes place on Sunday 7 July. Full details including an entry form and map of the course are available on the Club Events page.

Travellers at WYXCL

The Cross Country season is now well underway and the Travellers have entered strong Men's and Ladies teams in the West Yorkshire Cross Country League.

The picture above right shows the ladies team of Clara Carr, Claire Wilkinson, Jo Worboys-Hodgson, Lisa Broadhead, Anne Middleton, Nichola Sykes, Jan Yates, Bridget Coomber and Rosalind Bedford, with below right Mick Collinson and Stewart Yates enjoying the autumn sunshine in the men's race.
